Boil 150 ml of water, add some tea leaves or a tea bag and let it steep for 10 minutes. Twist off the stems and cut the figs into quarters. Remove the seeds. Finely chop the cayenne pepper. Heat up one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan. Fry the figs with the red pepper. Add a little tea and vinegar and the honey. Mix it thoroughly. Let it simmer on a low setting for approximately 30 minutes. Serve the chutney warm or let it cool off and spoon it into a small jar to present it. If you want to store it, sterilize your preserving jar before filling.
